Hair and make-up
The best rooms for preparations have enough space and light, preferably with large windows. Hair salons are usually artificially lit and too tight so it's best if the make-up artist and hair stylist can come to home, hotel or the wedding venue.
It's good to if the make-up artist will even out your skin tones of neck and shoulders. Also the groom could use some makeup powder for the wedding day.
You can decide beforehand if you would like the morning to be peaceful and quiet with only a few close ones or room full of energy with many groomsmen and bridesmaids.
Make time for photos
It is better to do the main photoshoot before the ceremony, because in that case the guests don't have to wait during the photo session. However if you are certain not to see each other before the ceremony we'll figure out the best schedule for photos when we meet.
As experience shows, the make-up, hair and other activities can take more time than originally planned. You should take in consideration the time for the transportation and have some extra time as well. It would be good to keep at least 2,5 hours just for the main photoshoot.
If we plan extra time early on, we do not need to rush on the wedding day and we'll definitely get a better result.
Be smarter
If you would like the guests to enjoy the moment and not take pictures during the ceremony, you should definitely let them know about it before the ceremony. That can be done by the host or the MC.
To get the best photos it is important that none of the guests would go near bride and groom during the ceremony to take a pictures, because that makes it quite difficult for us to take photos of you. It is also definitely easier to capture the guests’ faces when they are not blocked by huge phones or iPads.
More and more couples decide to have a completely unplugged wedding so that the guests could focus on the party and not suffer from the technology addictions.
Second photographer
There are many moments where the second photographer would be of great use at your wedding, capturing your day together with the main photographer. Especially during the ceremony and first look when you have many emotional moments in a small period of time and the second photographer’s viewpoint is exactly what you need. The second photographer would also capture guests and their emotions.
In addition, the second photographer has an assistant role during the whole day: help with the lights, adjust the wedding dress during the photoshoots, hold stuff and accessories and just help you with anything.

Photoshoot locations
Most photos are created spontaneously during the day. However, it would be good to think of some locations beforehand.
Think of places that are beautiful, that have a personal meaning to you, or just very cool places where you would like to have your love captured on your wedding day. When we meet, we can figure out the exact route and locations.
Light up the party
Light is good! White or yellow Christmas lights or candles add a lot, because they create an especially romantic environment and beautiful bokeh effects in the background of the photos.
It is preferable to light up the walls, for example with a yellow, red, pink or blue light. Green is not good. It is much more beautiful to choose 1 or 2 main tones, not use everything.
If the party takes place outside, under the stars, then the string lights can give a very beautiful impression that can create a nice warm feeling in the photos.
Group photos
Your family and friends definitely want to take a picture with you at the wedding. That is why it is reasonable to plan a specific time when the guests can successively come and take pictures in groups. For example, it takes around 40 minutes to take group photos at a wedding with 90 guests.
There is no need to write down every group beforehand. It works better if we just first invite your families and then give all the guests a chance. People organize themselves into groups and come to the picture.
It is usually good to take the big group picture right after the ceremony and congratulation, because that is when the whole crowd is already together.
Let the photographers sit at the table
Photographers need energy. Food is the source of energy. Feed your photographers!
If the band members usually want to eat in a separate room, then the photographers should be seated among the guests. That allows us to be a part of what is happening and not miss any of the important moments.
Also think about your own breakfast and lunch. It is good to have something quick and tasty. We don’t need those fainted brides…
Drone photography
You also have the opportunity to get a unique perspective of your wedding day, because we offer drone photography as an additional service.
We will bring a drone to the wedding and at the right moments we will rise to the heights to capture your love, beautiful landscapes, wedding venue, group photo, wedding train and anything else that looks beautiful from the air.
It works best with together with the second photographer service, because then one photographer can take photos on the ground at the same time.

Sharing the photos
Our team wants to make sure that your wedding photos are excellent. That is why we edit and prepare every photo and they will be ready in twelve weeks after the wedding. By that time we’ll make you an online gallery, secured with a password, where you can look at your photos and share them with your close ones.
If you feel that three months is a too long time to wait, you can buy the extra “Photos in three weeks”. Just let us know and we can put your photos first in line.
During the dinner I will pass around an iPad where the guests can leave their e-mails which I will use to registrate them to the wedding gallery. Only after you will have looked at the photos, I will open the gallery for the guests so they can also see and order the photos.
Couple of days after the wedding I will send you some teaser photos. That makes waiting for the rest of the photos easier (or not, ha-ha). In addition, I will send you a USB flash drive by post with all of the high-resolution files.

When the wedding day has arrived, it is time to enjoy it! There is no use of worrying about the decorations that were supposed to be blue but are now light blue instead. The guests are happy that they were invited to the wedding in the first place.
Do not let the weather, a shift in the schedule or any other detail bother you, but have an open mind, focus on each other and celebrate one of the most beautiful days in your lives!
