Triin & Marko | Super Stylish Wedding at Ruhe Guesthouse
The story of their meeting isn't one, but two different stories! There's Triinu's version and then there's Marko's version. For one the first encounter began on Tinder, for the other in a nightclub.
Triin: My friends and I were at a Christmas party, where we naturally discussed an array of topics, fitting for a bachelorette night! Finally, we came to combing through Tinder. A picture of Marko appeared before me; I already knew his name and face through our common friends, but we'd never actually met. I remember being exultant for the match and declaring to my friends that he was the most handsome man in Tartu!

Because thus far I'd always been shy about starting conversations, I decided, for the first time in my life, to grab the reigns. This drove me to text him an opening sentence very unlike myself.

The night went on, my friends and I moved on to a nightclub. We'd barely began dancing when I noticed Marko at the club. Since we'd matched on Tinder and even said a few words already, I boldly marched on to talk to him. As the night progressed, the two of us had eyes only for each other. Later on, I asked how he'd liked my pickup line, but it turned out that since his phone had died at some point before, he had no idea about our match!

Before falling asleep in the early hours of the morning I texted Marko and invited him to brunch the next day. Waking up later that morning was especially bright because on my screen shined back Marko's yes. The date began around 2 pm and lasted until 9 when Marko took me back on a bus back to Tallinn. For Marko, it took a little while longer, but I knew from that very first date that he would be my future husband.
Marko: Marko: On Friday I asked my friend Henri if he thought we should do something in the evening. He said he'd planned to hang out at Albre's place and since Albre was also my friend, I pressed myself in there, too.
To pass the time we always went on Tinder. I must have already swiped right on Triinu's picture before but I had no idea about the match.
When the clock started ticking towards midnight, we moved on to a nightclub. We'd already been there for a while when I noticed a gorgeous girl looking at me. Since I already knew Triin from many of our friends in common, I recognized her face. That beauty had even before captured my eye on Instagram and Facebook. Since I wasn't sure if she's single, I didn't dare to approach her myself.

A little while later Triin boldly came to introduce herself to me. We danced for a few songs until she asked me if I'd enjoyed her pickup line. I had no idea what she was talking about but, seeing her message later, I laughed out loud: it was very fitting and humorous. We danced on until the lights turned on at the club.
I, as a gentleman, offered to take Triin home with a taxi. In the taxi, I thought I'd lost my phone and gave Triin my number so she could call it. Thankfully it turned out to be in my jacket, but Triin immediately took it for a ploy to get her number. But sharing that number turned out to be very useful because that same morning I received a text asking: brunch today? I agreed immediately. So that day we went on a date that ended up lasting to the evening. From that day on, we started texting and still do to this day.
