I feel that I am successful, not because the past year was the best financial year for Rosenvald Photography. Because I know there are others in the business who are tens, hundreds, and thousands of times more successful than I am.
There are two roles where ONLY I can succeed or fail. And those are being a father to my two children, Sarah and Noah, and a husband to my wife, Johanna.
There is much room for improvement. But I feel that this year I have become more family-oriented, which has been my goal. Children are little for only a moment, and this time must be cherished.
The year 2024 was an exciting one for Rosenvald Photography. First of all, thanks to you, dear friends, I was chosen as the Wedding Photographer of the Year on Pulmad.ee for the sixth (!) time as the only Estonian. Being recognized as Estonia's best wedding photographer even once is a great honor. But to receive this title six times is simply... Wow, thank you!
Last year, I photographed 31 weddings and successfully delivered 21,337 photos to couples. And while that’s quite a lot, I can honestly say it wasn’t too hard or exhausting.
But it hasn’t always been this way. In 2014, I was on the brink of burnout in my photography career. I was exhausted, undercharging for my work, and post-processing consumed all my time. I realized I couldn’t continue like that.
At the same time, I believed it was possible to create a photography business that I truly loved. That’s when a journey began—one where I learned productivity principles, sales strategies, and how to create photos that clients adore.
Now, in 2024, I felt it was the right time to start sharing this knowledge.
Thus, Rosenvald Academy was born—a community for photographers. My mission is simple:
“To help you, as an ambitious Estonian photographer and build a financially successful business that you genuinely love. All this so you can keep your creative spark alive, have time for your family, and leave your clients amazed by the outstanding quality of your work.”
