“We first met in Saaremaa. Herkis was travelling around Estonia and organising youth events in various places. His team also invited the locals to take part, and there was a meeting happening at the time. I decided to participate, entered the room a little late, and many people were already sitting. Herkis spoke in English, and I thought that he was English because part of his team had come from Great Britain.”
“Only later he told me that he had thought my brother was my boyfriend.”
“But suddenly he started to speak in perfect Estonian. After the official part, everyone had a chance to get to know one another a little better. I liked his personality a lot, and deep down I was hoping that he would come and start talking to me.
And this is what happened! Our first conversation was going wonderfully, but then, my brother sat next to me. I introduced my brother to Herkis, and after a moment of confusion, he asked me to repeat the very same sentence. Having found out that it was JUST my brother, he had even more reasons to continue with the conversation. Only later he told me that he had thought my brother was my boyfriend.”
