Reeli & Lauri | A beautiful Wedding Day in Tulivee Villa

Our first meeting took place over 15 years ago when the door to the office opened, and in stepped Lauri, a handsome young man with a wonderful sense of humor. At the office, he seemed to mostly socialize with others, yet somehow his eye was captured by the reserved, quietly working Reeli. There everything began with banter, flirting, and plenty of good humor. It was love at first sight!

Yet, fate had other plans, letting them take a little bit longer… But the moment and its genuineness were worth the wait, because one day finally, the magical wedding day finally came, filled with love, charm, laughter, and tears of joy.

During the ceremony, I reminisced about our love and the long journey we had to take to get here. After so many years, here at the marvelous Tulivee villa, declaring our eternal love for each other…

Then, to my surprise, I heard pastor Peep-Ain characterize our love journey with words from the Bible. Words I’d planned to quote in my own vows! Stunned, I called out in my head, saying that wait, I was supposed to say that! Yet my heart felt delighted that even the pastor found the following words to describe our love the best:

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

And that’s how our love has been all these years: patient, not self-seeking, no dishonor.

For too long we set other people’s happiness and wishes above our love. Yet, despite everything, our love never failed and never will fail. It changed and will keep on changing stronger. I believe that true love never dies, but sooner or later, it’ll come together forever.

Today we can appreciate this time, this moment, our love, and happiness.

A kiss is just a kiss until you find the one you love!

A hug is just a hug until you embrace the one you’ve always been waiting for!

A dream is just a dream until it becomes true.

Love is just a word until you meet the One!

Love can move the mountains.

Both Reeli and Lauri knew, that before the ceremony, the bride needed to warm up her hand, to make putting on the ring smoother. Naturally, of course, that was the one thing she forgot… The necessary preparations dawned on her in the car, racing her way to the ceremony, and there was nothing she could do anymore.

And so it came time for the rings, and the moment captured in Valdur describes it all best: the pastor, the groom, and the bride’s emotion. The only thing missing from the photo is the sonorous crack, that accompanied the ring slipping on!

Here we’ve only mentioned a few of those whimsical moments that filled the entire wedding. Each and every one of those added vibrancy to the day, and felt so authentic to us.

While planning for our wedding, our emcee Tõnis recommended we make this a day for us and just enjoy it! And that’s exactly what we did. This was Our Day!
