Laura & Kauri | Hollywood level Wedding in Château de Sangaste

We first got to know each other in 2009. Back then there was a widely used website called Rate.ee. The site had a game, where you got to answer questions about yourself, and when your answers were similar to another’s, you had a match. I suppose the system is comparable to some dating sites now.

After first matching there, we started chatting online, since I was from Järvamaa and my now-husband Kauri was from Tartu. At some point, it was popular to choose someone as your The One on your public Rate profile, so that’s what we ended up doing, too. Even when our talks fell away for a while, we still remained The Ones for one another.

Life went on, and eventually, our communication picked up again from where it left off. A few months later we finally met in real life, and since that moment we have been each others’ The One for 14 years. Now at last, also as a married couple!
